The Visual Communications prompt for this brief was "post-apocalyptic film poster for a film based in Ireland". We had to incorporate elements from existing post-apocalyptic films and develop a visual language for our poster.
I based my poster on "The Drought", a 1964 science fiction novel by J. G. Ballard. I wanted to convey the dispirited, dreamlike quality of the book through colour and tone.
