These photos were taken during a class trip to Kilkenny. We visited an exhibition promoting Cartoon Saloon's "Song of the Sea". There were interactive displays, production images, light features and other installations.
These were taken and processed in response to a class brief centred around black and white photography; it was an interesting assignment that encouraged us to focus on light, shape and texture instead of colour.
For photography class we needed to create an animated GIF from sequential photographs. I decided to melt a slice of ice cream over a radiator and photograph it every three minutes to capture the melting process in slow motion.
